There are certain dog breeds which do not love water but some breeds are extremely fond of making splashes in water. They cannot resist wherever they come across water. Labs and Golden Retrievers are generally on the top of dogs with the aquatic tendency. There are some other breeds which rank highest in making splashes. These dog breeds are:
1. Schipperke
Bred in Belgium, Schipperke is a smart and small dog which is famous for picking the orders and obeying their master. They always love to be in water and enjoy swimming.

2. Labrador retriever
One of the most loving family dog and a reliable companion, Labrador is said to be a water-lover. It is used to hunt water fowls.
3. Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever
It hunts the birds on the edge of water. The white marking on its skin tempts the birds to come closer it to know it. As soon as they come closer to it, it catches them.
4. Irish Water Spaniel
They have webbed feet which are suitable to swim into water and they are comfortable in water to enjoy swimming.
5. Newfoundland
They are recruited in water rescue on account of their aquatic expertise.
6. Irish setter
Being from the gundog group, they are fond of water and swimming.
7. English setter
They are fond of water and love to go out for swimming and their response to a little training is positive and they learn very soon how to swim.
8. Standard Poodle
Being a great working dog, it can plunge into cold water.
9. Golden Retriever
Golden Retrievers are used to hunt fowl as they a tendency to go into water. They cannot help if they see water in front of them.
10. Portuguese water dog
It is famous for catching fish from deep waters. It also conveys messages from ship to ship and ship to land.
11. American Water Spaniel
They are trained as working dogs in water and considered best to work in water. They are famed as good companions too.
12. Chesapeake Bay retriever
They are strong and large in size with an aquatic inclination.
