Dogs are the specie which hosts a bunch of sub species having different characteristics and features. They are extremely beautiful and the ugliest, biggest in size and height and on the other side, some of them are the smallest. The smallest dogs are adorable because of their tiny features and their qualities. They are liked by the kids due to their appearance.

Owned by Arthur Marples of Blackburn, England, Sylvia had very astonishing features. Its height was only 2.5 inches from the shoulder, 3.5 inches from nose to tail while it weighed only 4 ounces. She died in 1945 when she was two years old.

5.5 inches tall, Thumbelina was declared as the smallest dog in the Guinness World Records before 1995. It was a Yorkie breed having 8 inches length.
