Mother is the metaphor of love on earth and she is a divine and heavenly gift. The motherhood is not confined only to human beings but all the creatures on earth are blessed with motherly feelings and emotions. Nature bestows these motherly feelings and magnetic senses on the mothers of all specie in the universe. Same is the case with dogs. The mother dogs are no exception. They offer extreme care and love for their off springs without any demand in return. As soon as they give birth to their puppies, they start protecting and taking care of them. But this divine formula does not work sometimes. The mother dog does not own her newly-born puppy because she does not recognize it.

After giving birth to a puppy, the mother dog engages her in welcoming the newly-born puppy. She tears the sack off in which the baby is wrapped and brings the puppy out. She licks it and adopts her as her off spring. Oftentimes she performs all the welcoming duties herself. But sometimes it happens that she is unable to tear the sack of the puppy with her own tears. This is the stage when her puppy loses its mother because she does not recognize it as her blood and discards it. The poor puppy is deprived of the motherly emotions of its own real mother merely because she could not receive it and unpack it with her tears. She focuses on all other puppies but not on this one which suffers from the indifference and sometimes callousness of its own mother. These are the exceptions but it happens and for those who love dogs, it will be of great importance.
