India is a great place of dog-lovers who adore the dogs and express their affection for dogs in different forms. Recently they have exhibited their dogs in a dog show held in Tamil Nadu, a state of India.  450 dogs from other Indian states participated in the grand dog show. The show is held every year but in May 2012 there were some additions 13th Specialty Show of the German Shepherd Dog (GSD) Club of India, a Golden Retriever Speciality Show, and Coimbatore chapter. The South of India Kennel Club (SIKC) conducted this great show. In this three-day show, the dogs were put on exhibition and judged by the judges.

Competitions of dogs in the show

The dogs participated in the contests of different skills and expertise in the sow and amazed the dog-lovers with their proficiency.

Obedience trails

17 dogs underwent the obedience trials while they came from Labrador, Rajapalayam, German Shepherd Dog, and Doberman breeds. They were brought from Chennai, Mumbai, Sikunder Abad, Erode, Salem and most they were working in police squads.

GSD specialty Show

110 GSDs from Mysore, Bangalore, Channai, Kolkata, Hariyana, and Kolhapur participated in the GSD specialty Show.

Judgment of trials and tests

Different segments and contests were judged by different impartial juges,  GSDs were judged by Imran Hussain from Pakistan whereas the Goldern Retriever show was judged by Sally B from Switzerland.  Rajender Salvi gave the verdict on obedience contests.
